Confined Space Entrant / Attendant (OSHA)
Gain awareness of confined space entry requirements, hazards, entrant and attendant responsibilities, risk assessment, safe systems of work, and emergency procedures for confined space operations.
Overview
This awareness-level course provides an introduction to confined space entry and the controls required to work safely in and around confined spaces. Participants will learn how confined spaces are identified, the hazards commonly associated with confined space work, and the responsibilities of entrants, attendants, and other personnel involved in confined space operations.
The course also introduces risk assessment, permit-to-work systems, safe working practices, emergency arrangements, and the requirements for safely entering and exiting a confined space.
This training is intended to support awareness and understanding of confined space safety requirements and does not replace practical or competency-based confined space entry training where such training is required.
