Excellent practical content and the day was intense in the best way. My only note is that the lunch break could be a little longer.

I have safely completed the BOSIET Training and arrived back in Jakarta without missing anything. Because of BOSIET Training I have done, I now become the Chief Mechanic on Jack Up Rig Hailong 6. I really appreciate your efforts in providing services and patiently educating me about the differences between T-BOSIET and BOSIET. Please find below my feedback on the E-BOSIET:

1. The internet learning is a very well put together course; all the subjects are treated in deep and the trainee can repeat the sessions if he wants to. For info, for each module to complete, it took me around 3 to 3.5 hrs. The intent is to pass with 100% mark and the system prompts you again until the trainee gets the 100% mark.
2. E-learning is a good solution since the trainee can prepare the E-BOSIET at his rhythm and where he wants i.e. either at his work place or offshore, and do the practical when he comes back on land. This solution minimizes the time out from the family for the offshore worker and reduces the window from 3 days to 1 day.
3. My E-BOSIET learning was in English, so maybe not recommended for the Indonesian workers who are not really fluent in English.
4. My practical session was done 2 days after the E-BOSIET online application modules.
5. Re-4) I would recommend no more than 1 month between the E-application modules and the practical at the Samson Tiara training centre. The trainee could in advance plan his questions and pay more attention to the subjects he wants to review with the instructor.

To add to all the above points, I would like to thank all instructors for their professionalism and ability to deliver a very “practical to the point” training.

Thank God, I’ve done the T-Bosiet as I’ve experienced what Mr. Solihin (Training Manager) told me that Samson Tiara is OPITO’s best training provider in the world. At first, I was so afraid about HUET and EBS because of my trauma from earlier experience. But I finally did it after the instructor from Samson Tiara encouraged me. Thanks for the support, especially for Lela and team, I’ve finally overcome my fear.

Of note, my training with your crew that day was extraordinary, as was the care I received from your medic. She was excellent. I arrived in the morning with some sort of awful stomach flu, and she took great care of me, and got me feeling better for the afternoon practical session.

When we got in the water, I was having issues with my own personal feelings about being underwater, but the crew was so fantastic, professional, and supportive, I actually feel like I’ve turned a corner with my discomfort in water. I can’t say enough about how I felt after the course was complete. I owe the Samson Tiara crew that day a large debt of gratitude and respect for everything they helped me with.

I look forward to training with you again for this certification.
