Operator Forklift Kelas II (Class II Forklift Operator)

Operator Forklift Kelas II (Class II Forklift Operator) is an official certification programme delivered in accordance with the requirements of the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker RI). The programme prepares operators with the knowledge, practical skills and professional responsibilities required to safely operate forklifts with lifting capacities below 15 tonnes.

Forklifts are among the most widely used material handling equipment in industrial workplaces. Improper operation can result in serious injuries, damage to property, and costly workplace incidents. This programme develops competence in safe forklift operation, load handling, stability principles, daily inspections, and hazard control to support safe and productive material handling operations.

Please note: This is an Indonesian government certification intended for Indonesian nationals and other personnel who meet the participant eligibility requirements established under Indonesian regulations.

This programme is intended for Indonesian personnel responsible for operating forklifts with lifting capacities below 15 tonnes, including:

• Forklift operators
• Warehouse personnel
• Logistics personnel
• Production personnel
• Material handling personnel
• Personnel requiring Kemnaker forklift operator certification.

This programme is delivered in accordance with Indonesian occupational safety legislation governing lifting and transport equipment operators, including Occupational Safety Act No. 1 of 1970, Ministry of Manpower Regulation No. PER.05/MEN/1985, and Ministry of Manpower Regulation No. PER.09/MEN/2010.

The programme is delivered over three days and is available through either blended learning (two days online followed by one practical day) or full classroom delivery. Training may be delivered as a public course or as an in-house programme depending on organisational requirements.

Upon successful completion participants will be able to:

• Operate forklifts safely, effectively, and efficiently.
• Select the appropriate forklift for different lifting tasks.
• Identify the major components and systems of a forklift.
• Calculate safe load capacities and maintain forklift stability during operations.
• Carry out routine inspections and basic daily maintenance.

• Indonesian citizen.
• Minimum junior high school (SLTP) qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of relevant industry experience.
• Laptop or Android device with a stable internet connection (blended learning only).
• Recent passport photographs as specified.
• Valid medical certificate.
• Employment verification letter.
• Copy of Indonesian Identity Card (KTP).
• Signed Integrity Pact.

Participants who successfully complete the programme and satisfy all competency requirements will receive:

• PT Samson Tiara Class II Forklift Operator Certificate.
• Official Kemnaker RI Certificate and Operator Licence (SIO).
• Operator Qualification Card.
