Basic Safety Awareness & Legislation

Basic Safety Awareness & Legislation is a PT Samson Tiara certified course designed to give delegates an understanding of the philosophy and application of health and safety in the workplace. The course introduces the importance of safety, HSE policy, local legislation, and the wider role of health and safety programmes within an organisation.

Delegates will develop an understanding of how work-related incidents and accidents can negatively affect workers, company assets, and the environment. The course also helps delegates identify common causes of occupational incidents and accidents, understand basic prevention principles, and recognise how different HSE programme areas contribute to safer workplace performance.

This course is suitable for all employees of an organisation as a primer to understanding basic safety, HSE policy, Indonesian health and safety legislation, and common workplace HSE matters.

This course is suitable for employees who need a basic understanding of workplace safety, HSE policy, and local health and safety legislation, including:

• General employees
• New employees or personnel undergoing safety induction
• Operational personnel
• Administrative and support personnel
• Supervisors requiring basic HSE awareness
• Personnel who need an introduction to HSE programmes and workplace safety legislation

The course is delivered over 1 day. Training is available at PT Samson Tiara’s Cilegon and Jakarta facilities, or on-site at the client’s location.

If the course is conducted on-site, the client should provide a classroom or other suitable quiet area with chairs, desks, whiteboard, and overhead projector.
