Petugas Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Kimia (Chemical Occupational Safety and Health Officer)

Petugas Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Kimia (Chemical Occupational Safety and Health Officer) is an official certification programme delivered in accordance with the requirements of the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker RI). The programme prepares personnel responsible for supporting the safe use, storage, transport and management of hazardous chemicals within Indonesian workplaces.

The course develops knowledge of Indonesian occupational safety legislation, hazardous chemical management, hazard identification, safe work procedures, emergency response, and workplace risk control to support safe and compliant chemical operations.

Please note: This is an Indonesian government certification intended for Indonesian nationals and other personnel who meet the participant eligibility requirements established under Indonesian regulations.

This programme is intended for Indonesian personnel who work full-time in workplaces involving hazardous chemicals, including those responsible for production, storage, warehousing, transport and workplace safety coordination.

Under Indonesian Ministry of Manpower Decree No. Kep.187/MEN/1999 concerning the Control of Hazardous Chemicals in the Workplace, organisations classified as having major chemical hazard potential are required to appoint at least one Chemical Occupational Safety and Health Expert (Ahli K3 Kimia) together with the required number of Chemical Occupational Safety and Health Officers (Petugas K3 Kimia). Medium hazard organisations must also appoint Chemical Safety Officers in accordance with the applicable regulations.

The programme follows the official Kemnaker RI curriculum and combines classroom instruction, discussions, case studies, site visits and competency evaluation.

Upon successful completion participants will be able to:

Participants who successfully complete the programme and satisfy all competency requirements will receive:

• PT Samson Tiara Certificate of Completion.
• Official Kemnaker RI Certificate and Licence.
• Petugas K3 Kimia Qualification Card.
