Operator Overhead Crane Kelas I (Class I Overhead Crane Operator)

Operator Overhead Crane Kelas I (Class I Overhead Crane Operator) is an official certification programme delivered in accordance with the requirements of the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker RI). The programme prepares operators with the knowledge, practical skills and professional responsibilities required to safely operate overhead cranes with lifting capacities exceeding 100 tonnes.

The course combines classroom learning with practical instruction to develop competence in crane operation, hazard identification, daily inspections, load calculations and safe lifting practices while supporting compliance with Indonesian occupational safety legislation.

Please note: This is an Indonesian government certification intended for Indonesian nationals and other personnel who meet the participant eligibility requirements established under Indonesian regulations.

This programme is intended for Indonesian personnel responsible for operating overhead cranes exceeding 100 tonnes, including:

• Overhead crane operators
• Senior crane operators
• Production personnel
• Maintenance personnel
• Heavy industrial equipment operators
• Personnel requiring Kemnaker operator certification

This programme is delivered in accordance with Indonesian occupational safety legislation governing lifting equipment operators, including Occupational Safety Act No. 1 of 1970, Ministry of Manpower Regulation No. PER.05/MEN/1985, and Ministry of Manpower Regulation No. PER.09/MEN/2010.

The programme is delivered over five days and is available through either blended learning (four days online followed by one practical day) or full classroom delivery. Training may be delivered as a public course, in-house programme or blended programme depending on operational requirements.

Upon successful completion participants will be able to:

• Operate Class I overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
• Apply occupational safety and health requirements during lifting operations.
• Identify and control hazards associated with crane operations.
• Carry out routine inspections and basic daily maintenance.
• Calculate load weights and select safe lifting methods.
• Demonstrate the professionalism and responsibilities expected of a certified crane operator.

• Indonesian citizen.
• Minimum senior high school (SLTA) qualification.
• Minimum five years of relevant industry experience.
• Laptop or Android device with a stable internet connection (blended learning only).
• Recent passport photographs as specified.
• Valid medical certificate.
• Employment verification letter.
• Copy of Indonesian Identity Card (KTP).
• Signed Integrity Pact.

Participants who successfully complete the programme and satisfy all competency requirements will receive:

• PT Samson Tiara Class I Overhead Crane Operator Certificate.
• Official Kemnaker RI Certificate and Operator Licence (SIO).
• Operator Qualification Card.
