Juru Ikat (Rigger)

Juru Ikat (Rigger) is an official certification programme delivered in accordance with Indonesian Ministry of Manpower Regulation No. PER.09/MEN/VII/2010 concerning Lifting Equipment Operators and Personnel. The programme prepares personnel to safely perform rigging operations, select appropriate lifting accessories, inspect lifting equipment, provide standard lifting signals, and support safe lifting operations.

Riggers play a critical role in ensuring loads are correctly secured, lifting accessories are fit for purpose, and crane operations are conducted safely through effective communication and proper rigging techniques. The programme develops the practical knowledge required to minimise risks associated with lifting operations.

Please note: This is an Indonesian government certification intended for Indonesian nationals and other personnel who meet the participant eligibility requirements established under Indonesian regulations.

This programme is intended for Indonesian personnel involved in lifting operations, including:

• Riggers
• Lifting crew personnel
• Construction workers
• Oil and gas personnel
• Manufacturing and warehouse personnel
• Personnel supporting crane and lifting operations.

This programme is delivered in accordance with Indonesian Ministry of Manpower Regulation No. PER.09/MEN/VII/2010 concerning Lifting Equipment Operators and Personnel and supports compliance with Occupational Safety Act No. 1 of 1970.

The programme is delivered over three days through either blended learning (two days online followed by one practical day) or full classroom delivery. Training is available at PT Samson Tiara’s facilities or as an in-house programme.

Upon successful completion participants will be able to:

• Select lifting accessories suitable for the required Safe Working Load (SWL).
• Inspect slings and lifting accessories before use.
• Apply safe rigging techniques for lifting operations.
• Provide standard hand signals and communication to crane operators.
• Carry out routine inspection and basic maintenance of lifting accessories.
• Complete operational logbooks and daily reports.

• Indonesian citizen.
• Minimum junior secondary school (SMP) qualification or equivalent.
• Recent passport photographs as specified.
• Valid medical certificate.
• Employment verification letter.
• Copy of Indonesian Identity Card (KTP).
• Android device or laptop with a stable internet connection (blended learning only).
• Signed Integrity Pact.

Participants who successfully complete the programme and satisfy all competency requirements will receive:

• PT Samson Tiara Juru Ikat (Rigger) Certificate.
• Official Kemnaker RI Certificate and Licence.
• Juru Ikat Qualification Card.
