Overview
This asbestos awareness course provides employees with an understanding of the hazards associated with asbestos and asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). Participants will learn where asbestos may be encountered, the health risks associated with exposure, and the precautions required to prevent accidental disturbance of ACMs.
The course is intended to raise awareness and help workers recognise potential asbestos hazards. It does not qualify participants to work on, remove, disturb, or manage asbestos-containing materials.
Who is it For
This course is suitable for employees, supervisors, contractors, maintenance personnel, and others who may encounter asbestos-containing materials during their work activities.
