Floor / Fire Warden

Floor / Fire Warden is a PT Samson Tiara certified course designed to provide delegates with a theoretical and practical understanding of the typical functions of a fire warden, floor warden, or fire marshal within a workplace.

The course helps delegates understand how fires start and spread within buildings, recognise common workplace fire hazards, support emergency evacuation arrangements, assist with mustering, and understand the basic use of fire extinguishers within the scope of the training.

The programme also introduces selected workplace emergency response considerations, including actions to take during earthquakes, managing bomb threats, and managing flood events. The course includes evaluation and drills.

This course is suitable for personnel who may be appointed to support workplace fire prevention, evacuation, or emergency coordination duties, including:

• Floor wardens
• Fire wardens

• Personnel assigned to support workplace evacuation and mustering arrangements

The standard course is delivered over 1 day. Training is available at PT Samson Tiara’s Cilegon and Jakarta facilities, or on-site at the client’s workplace.

On-site delivery can be customised to the client’s workplace, emergency arrangements, and evacuation drill requirements.

Upon successful completion of this course, delegates should have a basic understanding of common fire hazards in the workplace, the basic use of fire extinguishers, evacuation techniques, and mustering.
