Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS 100) introduces delegates to the Incident Command System (ICS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS) principles used to manage incidents. The course is based on conventional FEMA ICS guidance and adapted for industrial and workplace incident environments.

The course promotes effective response by familiarising delegates with the structure, terminology, roles, and management characteristics used within ICS. It also supports coordination with response partners from government, private-sector, and company emergency response organisations.
