Permit to Work
PT Samson Tiara certified Permit to Work training for high-risk industries, covering when permits are required, roles and responsibilities, communication, JSA, risk assessment, permit conditions, compliance monitoring, violations, competency, documentation, records, and auditing.
Overview
Permit to Work is a PT Samson Tiara certified course designed for personnel who work in oil, gas, mining, geothermal, petrochemical, and other high-risk industries. The course provides delegates with an understanding of the purpose and application of permit-to-work systems, with emphasis on their use for high-risk activities.
A permit to work is a formal system that defines what work is to be carried out, when it is to be performed, and which parts of the work are safe to proceed. The system requires a responsible person to assess the work, check safety requirements at each stage, and ensure that those undertaking the work understand the hazards, risks, and necessary precautions.
The course also supports managers and responsible personnel in understanding how permit-to-work documentation should be completed, how permit conditions relate to Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessment, and how compliance with permit requirements should be monitored, recorded, and audited.
