Scaffolding Awareness

Scaffolding Awareness is a PT Samson Tiara certified course designed to provide delegates with a fundamental understanding of scaffolding through theoretical knowledge and practical exercises. The course covers scaffolding structures, components, installation, removal, inspection, and safety precautions related to scaffolding and working at height.

The programme introduces delegates to scaffolding standards and regulations, basic construction and scaffolding safety, hazards and risks associated with scaffolding structures, and the prevention measures required during scaffolding installation. It also includes basic scaffolding design and calculation concepts within the scope of the course.

Although titled as an awareness course, the programme includes practical exercises covering general scaffolding knowledge, scaffolding parts, basic installation, maintenance, removal, inspection, safety procedures, and scaffolding design and installation practice.

This course is suitable for personnel who require a fundamental understanding of scaffolding, working at height, and scaffolding safety, including:

• Personnel who work around scaffolding structures
• Personnel involved in scaffolding-related activities
• Supervisors overseeing work involving scaffolding
• HSE personnel
• Maintenance and construction personnel
• Personnel who need basic knowledge of scaffolding components, installation, inspection, and safety procedures

The course is delivered over 2 days through face-to-face training. Training is available at PT Samson Tiara’s Cilegon and Jakarta facilities, or as an in-house programme.

Training includes theoretical instruction, practical exercises, review, and closing.

Delegates must successfully complete the course based on the required performance standards in order to receive certification.
