Spill Awareness
Develop the knowledge required to recognise, prevent and safely respond to small spills in onshore and offshore oil & gas workplaces. Learn spill hazards, spill kits, absorbents and the basic principles of spill response.
Overview
The Spill Awareness eLearning course provides personnel working in the onshore and offshore oil & gas industry with the knowledge required to recognise, prevent and safely respond to small spills in the workplace. The course introduces the causes of spills, associated hazards, safe response procedures, and the correct use of spill response equipment to minimise risks to personnel and the environment.
Developed through interactive eLearning modules, the course helps delegates understand their responsibilities during the early stages of a spill incident and the importance of preventing environmental contamination through safe working practices and effective spill response.
Who is it For?
