Teknisi K3 Deteksi Gas (Occupational Safety and Health Gas Detection Technician)

Teknisi K3 Deteksi Gas (Occupational Safety and Health Gas Detection Technician) is an Indonesian occupational safety training programme designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical understanding required to identify, measure and control hazardous gases in the workplace. Hazardous gases may be present in a wide range of industrial activities and can create serious risks for workers, particularly during confined space entry, oil and gas operations, process work and other activities involving potentially hazardous atmospheres.

The course prepares participants to understand atmospheric gas characteristics, recognise hazardous gas risks, use gas detection equipment, and apply basic measurement and control procedures to support safe work activities.

This course is intended for Indonesian personnel who may be involved in work requiring the detection, measurement or control of hazardous gases, including:

• Occupational safety technicians
• Confined space personnel
• Gas detector operators
• HSE personnel
• Operations and production personnel
• Maintenance technicians
• Supervisors responsible for confined space work
• Personnel involved in work with potentially hazardous atmospheres

The Teknisi K3 Deteksi Gas course is available through blended learning or full classroom-based delivery. Under the blended learning option, part of the course is delivered online, followed by face-to-face sessions for practical learning and evaluation. The course may also be delivered fully in the classroom depending on programme requirements and schedule.

Upon completion of the course participants will be able to:

• Understand regulatory requirements relating to confined space work.
• Understand the types of hazardous gases that may be encountered in the workplace.
• Conduct hazardous gas measurements using appropriate gas detection equipment.
• Apply control measures for hazardous gas risks in the workplace.

• Indonesian citizen.
• Minimum senior high school or equivalent qualification.
• Recent passport photograph with red background.
• Valid medical certificate or health declaration from a doctor/clinic.
• Employment verification letter.
• Copy of Indonesian Identity Card (KTP).
• Laptop or Android mobile device with a stable internet connection.
• Signed Integrity Pact.

Participants who successfully complete the course and satisfy all evaluation requirements will receive a training certificate in accordance with the Teknisi K3 Deteksi Gas programme requirements.
