Teknisi K3 Ruang Terbatas (Occupational Safety and Health Confined Space Technician)

Teknisi K3 Ruang Terbatas (Occupational Safety and Health Confined Space Technician) is an official certification programme delivered in accordance with Indonesian Ministry of Manpower Regulation No. 11 of 2023 concerning Occupational Safety and Health in Confined Spaces. The programme prepares personnel to plan, supervise, and support safe confined space operations in accordance with Indonesian regulatory requirements.

The course develops competence in confined space permit-to-work systems, hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA/JSA), atmospheric monitoring, hazardous gas detection, Lock Out – Tag Out (LOTO), SCBA use, emergency response planning, and safe confined space entry programmes.

Please note: This is an Indonesian government certification intended for Indonesian nationals and other personnel who meet the participant eligibility requirements established under Indonesian regulations.

This programme is intended for Indonesian personnel responsible for planning, supervising, or supporting confined space safety programmes, including:

• Confined Space Safety Technicians
• HSE personnel
• Confined space supervisors
• Permit-to-work coordinators
• Safety coordinators
• Operations and maintenance personnel responsible for confined space work

This programme is delivered in accordance with Indonesian Ministry of Manpower Regulation No. 11 of 2023 concerning Occupational Safety and Health in Confined Spaces.

The programme is delivered over six days and is available through either blended learning or full classroom delivery. Training combines classroom instruction, practical exercises, simulations, and competency assessment in accordance with the Kemnaker RI curriculum.

Upon successful completion participants will be able to:

• Apply occupational safety requirements for confined space work.
• Develop and implement confined space permit-to-work systems.
• Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA/JSA).
• Perform atmospheric monitoring and hazardous gas detection.
• Apply Lock Out – Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Develop emergency response plans and support first aid arrangements.
• Select and use PPE and SCBA appropriately.

• Indonesian citizen.
• Minimum senior high school qualification (SMU) or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ confined space work experience.
• Recent passport photographs.
• Valid medical certificate.
• Employment verification letter.
• Copy of Indonesian Identity Card (KTP).
• Laptop or Android device with a stable internet connection (blended learning only).
• Signed Integrity Pact.

Participants who successfully complete the programme and satisfy all competency requirements will receive:

• PT Samson Tiara Confined Space Safety Technician Certificate.
• Official Kemnaker RI Certificate and Licence.
• Confined Space Safety Technician Qualification Card.
