Ahli Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Umum (General Occupational Safety and Health Expert)

Ahli Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Umum (General Occupational Safety and Health Expert – AK3 Umum) is an official certification programme delivered under the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker RI). The programme prepares professionals to develop, implement, supervise, and continually improve occupational safety and health management systems within Indonesian workplaces.

Delivered in accordance with Indonesia’s Occupational Safety Act No. 1 of 1970 and its implementing regulations, the programme develops the competencies required of a General Occupational Safety and Health Expert. Graduates are prepared to support Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems (SMK3), investigate workplace incidents, conduct internal safety audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide professional advice to management on workplace health and safety matters.

Please note: This is an Indonesian government certification intended for Indonesian nationals and other personnel who meet the participant eligibility requirements established under Indonesian regulations.

This programme is intended for Indonesian professionals responsible for workplace occupational safety and health management, including:

• Safety Officers
• HSE Officers
• HSE Supervisors
• HSE Coordinators
• HSE Managers
• Operational Supervisors
• Personnel appointed to Workplace Occupational Safety and Health Committees (P2K3).

This programme is delivered in accordance with Indonesia’s Occupational Safety Act No. 1 of 1970 and its implementing regulations as the official Kemnaker RI General Occupational Safety and Health Expert certification programme.

The programme is delivered over 12 days through online learning. Training combines instructor-led sessions, case studies, plant visit assignments, participant presentations, and competency assessment.

Upon successful completion participants will be able to:

• Explain the duties, authority, and responsibilities of a General Occupational Safety and Health Expert.
• Implement Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems (SMK3).
• Conduct workplace incident investigations and accident analysis.
• Identify workplace hazards and regulatory inspection objects.
• Conduct internal SMK3 audits.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian occupational safety legislation.
• Contribute effectively as members of Workplace Occupational Safety and Health Committees (P2K3).

• Indonesian citizen.
• Minimum Diploma III or Bachelor’s degree.
• Recent photograph with a red background.
• Valid medical certificate.
• Employment verification letter.
• Valid Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK).
• Copy of Indonesian Identity Card (KTP).
• Laptop with a stable internet connection.
• Signed declaration confirming full participation in the online programme.

Participants who successfully complete the programme and satisfy all competency requirements will receive:

• General Occupational Safety and Health Expert (AK3 Umum) Certificate.
• Ministerial Appointment Decree (Surat Keputusan Pengangkatan) as an Ahli K3 Umum, where issued in accordance with applicable Kemnaker RI requirements.
