Pemadam Kebakaran Tingkat B / Koordinator Unit Penanggulangan Kebakaran (Fire Response Unit Coordinator)

Pemadam Kebakaran Tingkat B / Koordinator Unit Penanggulangan Kebakaran (Fire Response Unit Coordinator) is an official certification programme designed to prepare competent personnel to coordinate workplace fire response units. The programme develops the knowledge and skills required to lead fire response teams, develop fire prevention and response programmes, manage fire protection resources, and support structured workplace emergency response.

The programme is delivered in accordance with Minister of Manpower Decree No. KEP.186/MEN/1999 concerning Workplace Fire Prevention and Response Units, which requires employers to prevent, reduce, and extinguish fires in the workplace through the establishment of fire response units, training, and emergency drills.

Within the workplace fire response unit structure, Koordinator Unit Penanggulangan Kebakaran is responsible for coordinating fire response activities, leading fire teams before external authority assistance arrives, and supporting management in providing fire prevention programmes, budgets, equipment, and facilities.

Please note: This is an Indonesian government certification intended for Indonesian nationals and other personnel who meet the participant eligibility requirements established under Indonesian regulations.

Kemnaker firefighter training is structured according to roles and responsibilities within workplace fire response units:

• Firefighter Level D / Workplace Fire Warden: entry-level personnel responsible for fire prevention, initial fire response, evacuation, and basic scene control.
• Firefighter Level C / Fire Response Team Member: fire team personnel responsible for more structured fire response activities.
• Firefighter Level B / Fire Response Unit Coordinator: personnel responsible for coordinating and supervising workplace fire response units.
• Firefighter Level A / Fire Safety Specialist: technical specialist responsible for workplace fire prevention and response systems.

This programme is intended for Indonesian personnel appointed as Fire Response Unit Coordinators or those responsible for managing workplace fire emergency response teams, including:

• Fire Response Unit Coordinators
• Fire Team Leaders
• Emergency Response Team Coordinators
• HSE Supervisors
• Area Supervisors
• Personnel responsible for fire protection resources and fire emergency response management.

This programme supports company obligations to establish workplace fire response units, conduct fire response training, perform emergency preparedness drills, and manage workplace fire prevention and response systems in accordance with Minister of Manpower Decree No. KEP.186/MEN/1999.

The programme is delivered over seven days through classroom delivery. Training is available at Cilegon or as an in-house programme.

Upon successful completion participants will be able to:

• Lead fire response teams before assistance from authorised external agencies arrives.

• Indonesian citizen.
• Valid Petugas Peran Kebakaran / Firefighter Level D certificate.
• Valid Regu Penanggulangan Kebakaran / Firefighter Level C certificate.
• Minimum Diploma III or Bachelor’s degree, or senior high school qualification subject to programme and authority requirements.
• Recent photograph with a red background.
• Valid medical certificate.
• Employment verification letter.
• Copy of Indonesian Identity Card (KTP).

Participants who successfully complete the programme and satisfy all competency requirements will receive:

• PT Samson Tiara Fire Response Unit Coordinator / Firefighter Level B Certificate.
• Official Kemnaker RI Certificate and Licence.
• Fire Response Unit Coordinator Qualification Card.
